Send a message with: your hotel/condo address (or area + landmark for pickup planning), rough kg estimate (or just say 'a bag of clothes' — service knows what to expect), preferred pickup time slot (or 'asap' — most services arrive within 1-3 hours of booking). The service responds within minutes during business hours (10 AM - 8 PM most central Bangkok services) confirming pickup time and any special requirements. No app, no account creation, no payment upfront. WhatsApp is preferred over phone calls because written communication helps if Thai isn't your first language and creates a record of agreed terms.
Step 2: Pickup at your hotel or condo
Pickup happens at the agreed time — typically your hotel reception, condo lobby, or office building entrance. You don't need to wait there yourself. Most hotels accept the bag handover at reception (just leave with the front desk, mention 'pickup for [your name/room number]' and the rider will collect). Condos: building security accepts on your behalf, or you can hand directly. Office: reception accepts. The rider is uniformed and visibly identified as the laundry service rep. Cash is NOT taken at pickup — service is paid after delivery. Pickup takes 2-3 minutes total.
Step 3: Weighing and price confirmation
Your bag is taken to the laundry centre (typically 10-30 minutes from pickup point in central Bangkok), weighed dry, and the final price calculated. You receive a WhatsApp message: 'Your order: 4.2 kg × 100 THB/kg = 420 THB plus 100 THB pickup = 520 THB total. Confirm to proceed.' This is your check-in moment — if anything looks off (the weight is significantly higher than you expected), you can adjust or ask questions. Once you confirm, processing begins. The clothes are sorted by colour and fabric, special-care items flagged, and the wash cycle started.
Step 4: Wash, dry, fold
Behind the scenes: each customer's load goes into its own machine (premium services use individual-customer policy — your clothes never mix with anyone else's). Detergent: typically eco-friendly and skin-safe at premium tier. Wash cycle: matched to fabric type. Drying: your choice of air-dry (24h, gentle) or tumble (12h, faster, more thorough on towels). Folding: by hand, with each item creased properly. Quality check: inspector looks at every item before packaging. Packaging: items sealed in protective bags or hung in garment bags. Total processing time: 4-8 hours for standard turnaround, 6-8 hours for same-day with prioritisation.
Step 5: Delivery and payment
Delivery happens at the agreed return time — typically the next afternoon for standard, or same evening for same-day. The rider arrives at your hotel reception or condo lobby with the cleaned, folded, sealed bag. Payment options: Wise, PayPal, Visa/Mastercard, cash, or PromptPay (Thai bank QR). For repeat customers, recurring weekly pickups can be arranged — payment is monthly invoice via Wise or bank transfer. Once payment confirms, the bag is yours. WhatsApp confirms 'order complete'.
