What if I checkout before my laundry returns?

Hotel checkout vs laundry-delivery timing mismatches happen often. Here are the four practical solutions.

What if my hotel checkout is at 11am and laundry delivers at 5pm?

Four options. (1) Hotel-hold arrangement — most Bangkok hotels accept laundry on your behalf for 12-24 hours after checkout, you swing by reception to pickup. (2) BTS / MRT handoff — we deliver to a BTS station coffee shop instead. (3) Airport handoff — delivery to your departure airport coffee shop. (4) Cancel / reschedule — if the timing doesn't work, we cancel and refund minus the pickup cost. Most tourists choose option 1 (hotel-hold) when it's available — simplest.

Will the hotel really hold my laundry after checkout?

Yes — almost always. Bangkok hotels (budget through luxury) routinely hold guest belongings for 24-48 hours after checkout. Many hold for up to a week if asked. Tell reception at checkout: 'I have a laundry delivery coming at 5pm — please hold for me.' Reception logs the bag in your file and stores at the front desk. You return later, show your booking confirmation, collect. No charge at most hotels; some luxury hotels charge a 50-100 THB handling fee.

Can you redirect delivery to my next hotel instead?

Yes — change of address mid-cycle is fine. Tell us before your laundry leaves our centre. Cost: no extra fee for same-zone redirects (Sukhumvit hotel A → Sukhumvit hotel B); 100 THB for cross-zone redirects (Sukhumvit → Silom). For tourists shifting hotels mid-trip, this is the cleanest solution. Coordinate with us via WhatsApp; we adjust delivery location and message both you and the new hotel reception.

Can you deliver directly to BTS or airport?

Yes — see our BTS/airport handoff article for full details. The flow: you tell us 'deliver to Asoke BTS coffee shop at 4pm' or 'deliver to Suvarnabhumi Black Canyon Coffee at 2pm.' Cost: 100 THB BTS handoff fee or 200 THB airport handoff fee. We coordinate the rider and meet you at the agreed time. Useful for tourists in transit between hotels or heading to the airport.

What if I'm flying out same day as checkout?

Best option: airport handoff. Don't try to fit hotel-hold + airport-trip — too logistically complex. Send pickup in the morning before checkout, plan delivery to airport coffee shop landside (before security). Total cost: standard wash + 200 THB airport fee. Cleanest for tourists with same-day checkout-and-flight transitions. Don't try hotel-hold + airport pickup — coordinating two pickup points adds complexity without saving cost.

What if I'm taking a domestic flight to Phuket / Chiang Mai?

Same options. We deliver to either Bangkok airport (BKK or DMK) before your domestic flight. For Phuket-bound: Don Mueang typically (AirAsia/budget). For Chiang Mai-bound: either airport. The 200 THB airport handoff fee applies to both airports. For domestic-flight tourists, we sometimes also coordinate Bangkok hotel → BTS handoff as an interim before the airport — useful if you have a layover or sightseeing stop.

What if I checkout and forget to coordinate?

Default: laundry sits at hotel reception. Reception holds your laundry until you contact us or them. We send WhatsApp confirmation when delivered to reception, so even if you forgot, you get a message that your bag is waiting. Most tourists realize within 24 hours and either return to the hotel to collect or coordinate redirection. The hotel reception is a good fail-safe for missed coordination — laundry doesn't go missing.
