Do you offer dry cleaning in Bangkok?
Laundry Service by Jewel does not offer traditional solvent-based dry cleaning at this time — we focus on water-based wash, dry, fold and professional ironing, which covers most everyday garments and many delicate fabrics including silk and cashmere when handled on the right cycle. For garments with a strict dry-clean-only label such as structured suits, leather, or evening gowns with embellishments, we recommend a dedicated dry cleaner. If you're unsure whether an item is suitable for our wash service, send a photo of the care label on WhatsApp before booking and our team will advise honestly. We'd rather decline a job than risk a garment we cannot safely clean.
Can you clean sneakers and shoes?
Yes, sneakers and trainers are cleaned at 250 THB per pair using a hand-wash and soft-brush process designed for canvas, leather, and modern technical fabrics. Our cleaning removes Bangkok-specific grime — dust from BTS commutes, tropical-rain water marks, and street dirt — without damaging glued seams or coloured stitching that machine washing typically attacks. Each pair is air-dried slowly to preserve shape, then returned in a protective bag. Pickup and delivery is the same flat 100 THB regardless of whether you send shoes alone or combine them with a wash & fold order. We do not currently restore deeply stained or yellowed soles — message us on WhatsApp with a photo first if your sneakers need restoration rather than cleaning.
