Sneaker & Shoe Cleaning
Sneaker Cleaning in Bangkok
Hand-washed by brush, air-dried to keep their shape. 250 THB per pair, free pickup from your hotel or condo. Canvas, leather, technical fabrics — every type handled differently.
How we clean sneakers
1. Hand-wash
Soft brush + pH-balanced cleaner. Gets into canvas weave and leather grain without abrasion.
2. Spot-treat
Stains, scuffs, and dirt zones get focused attention. Yellowed canvas and stained leather lifted carefully.
3. Air-dry
Slow indoor drying with shoe trees or paper inserts. Never tumble-dried — heat destroys glue.
250 THB per pair
Plus 100 THB flat pickup & delivery. No minimum order. Pay only after we've cleaned and you've seen the result.
How we clean each material
Different materials need different methods. Tell us what you're sending and we'll match the right approach.
Canvas (Converse, Vans, classic Adidas)
Method: Hand-wash with soft brush + pH-balanced cleaner. Air-dry stuffed with paper to retain shape.
Most forgiving material — usually 24-hour turnaround. Light yellowing improves significantly.
Leather (Air Jordan, Stan Smith, dress sneakers)
Method: Hand-clean with leather-safe solution. Conditioning treatment for premium pairs. Air-dry on shoe trees.
48-hour turnaround. Perforated leather and Cordovan need extra care — flag at pickup.
Suede (Puma Suede, Clarks Wallabees)
Method: Dry brush first, spot-treat marks with suede eraser, light steam if heavily soiled. Suede protector spray on request.
Limited what we can do for water stains — set in fast on suede. Send a photo before booking if there's water damage.
Technical (Nike Flyknit, Adidas Primeknit, Boost)
Method: Hand-wash with soft brush, careful around foam midsoles, air-dry inverted to keep midsole foam shape.
Common everyday running shoes. Good results from regular cleaning every 6-8 weeks.
Mixed materials (modern athletic)
Method: Multi-step approach matching each material zone. Mesh, plastic overlays, and rubber separately.
Most current sneakers fall here. We treat each section appropriately rather than wash the whole shoe one way.
What we don't do (and where to go)
- Sole restoration — yellowed midsoles, sole-paste, full re-painting. Specialists like Resh Thailand (Central Embassy) and Wray Sneaker Lab handle this.
- Vintage / rare collector restoration — limited releases, hyped collabs, museum-grade work. Resh Thailand for high-end work; The Sneaker Laundry Bangkok (Thailand's first sneaker cleaning store) for collector-grade attention.
- Re-glueing or seam repair — if your sole is separating, that's shoe-repair work, not cleaning. Take to a cobbler.
We'd rather refer you to the right specialist than try something we don't do well.
When to clean (Bangkok-specific)
Daily wear in central Bangkok
Every 4-6 weeks. BTS commute dust, street oils, and humidity build up faster than in cooler/drier cities.
After Songkran
Water festival soaks everyone. Clean sneakers within a week to prevent mildew in canvas and leather.
Rainy season (June-October)
Wet sneakers need to dry completely indoors. If they sat damp for 12+ hours, send for a clean before mildew sets in.
Pre-trip refresh
Travelling onward from Bangkok? Send sneakers in 48-72 hours before departure. We deliver back fresh and ready to pack.

Sneaker cleaning FAQs
How much does sneaker cleaning cost in Bangkok?
Our sneaker cleaning is 250 THB per pair. That covers full hand-wash with soft brush, sole cleaning, lace cleaning, and air-drying to preserve shape. Pickup and delivery to your hotel, condo, or office is a flat 100 THB regardless of how many pairs. For comparison, premium specialist Bangkok shoe cleaners (Resh, Sneaker Lab) charge 750-1,200 THB per pair for the same level of cleaning. We're at the affordable end of professional shoe cleaning while keeping the same hand-wash methodology.
Do you machine-wash sneakers?
No. Machine-washing destroys glued seams, cracks soles, and yellows midsoles. Every pair we clean is hand-washed with a soft brush and pH-balanced cleaner. The brush gets into the canvas weave or leather grain to lift dirt without abrasion. After cleaning, sneakers air-dry slowly indoors with shoe trees or stuffed paper to maintain shape — never tumble-dried (heat damages glue).
What types of shoes can you clean?
Canvas (Converse, Vans, classic Adidas), leather (Air Jordans, dress sneakers), suede with care (Pumas, Stan Smith perforation), modern technical fabrics (Nike Flyknit, Adidas Primeknit, Boost foam), and most everyday casual shoes. We don't currently restore deeply yellowed soles (specialist sole-paste work) or do paint-restoration on heavily worn finishes — for those, send to specialist sneaker labs like Resh Thailand or Wray Sneaker Lab. We DO clean and refresh; we don't restore vintage or rare items.
How long does sneaker cleaning take?
Standard turnaround is 24-48 hours from pickup. The cleaning itself takes about 30-45 minutes per pair, but air-drying needs 12-24 hours indoors at Bangkok humidity (sneakers must dry completely before delivery to prevent mildew). Same-day return is possible for canvas and synthetic uppers if you book before 9 AM and the pair is in our standard service zone (central Bangkok). Leather and suede always take 24-48 hours.
Can you remove yellow stains from white sneakers?
Most yellow stains come from soil residue in the foam or oxidation of the rubber. Our hand-wash + soft brush + pH-balanced cleaner removes 80-90% of soil-based yellowing on canvas and leather. Deep-set yellowing in midsole foam (the rubber turns yellow with UV exposure) is a different problem — it requires specialist sole-paste or whitening agents we don't apply. If you have specific yellowing concerns, send a photo on WhatsApp before booking and we'll tell you honestly whether our service will get the result you want.
Do you clean designer or expensive sneakers?
Yes — we regularly clean designer sneakers (Common Projects, Lanvin, premium Nike SB releases, Air Jordans). We hand-wash everything regardless of value, so the methodology is the same. For one-off or rare collector pieces (limited Yeezy releases, vintage Air Force Ones with specific patina), we recommend specialist sneaker labs (Resh Thailand, Wray Sneaker Lab) who have specific restoration expertise. For everyday wear of premium shoes, our service is fine.
Is professional sneaker cleaning worth it vs DIY?
If you wear sneakers to and from BTS daily in Bangkok's humidity and street dust, professional cleaning every 4-6 weeks extends their life by 2-3× compared to DIY. Specifically: dirt left in canvas weave breaks down fibres over time; sweat in inner lining causes odour and material breakdown; mud and street oils stain leather permanently if not lifted within 1-2 weeks. DIY methods often cause more damage than the dirt itself (machine washing, harsh detergents, heat-drying). Professional hand cleaning at 250 THB per pair is cheaper than replacing 3,500 THB sneakers every year.
