Different suits need different specialists
Bangkok has dozens of dry cleaners but only a handful do justice to a quality suit. The right choice depends on construction. Modern fused suits (most fashion brands and lower-priced ready-to-wear) handle wet cleaning at our service or any mainstream Bangkok dry cleaner. Half-canvassed suits (mid-tier ready-to-wear and entry-level tailored) work better with solvent dry cleaning at a specialist. Fully canvassed suits (bespoke or premium ready-to-wear like Hermès, Brioni, or Naga Tailor work) really need an experienced solvent dry cleaner who knows how to handle the canvas without distorting it. Don't send a 100,000 THB bespoke suit to a cheap shop.
1. DryClinique — best for everyday business suits
Five locations across central Bangkok make DryClinique the most accessible specialist for everyday suits. Pricing typically 250-400 THB for a jacket, 400-600 THB for a two-piece. They handle business suits, blazers, and formal trousers competently. Same-day available at most branches if you book before 11 AM. Best for: regular business travel suits, mid-range ready-to-wear, modern fused construction. Less suitable for: hand-canvassed bespoke or vintage formal wear that needs specialist handling.
2. Snow White Dry Cleaning & Leather Care — premium specialist
Snow White Dry Cleaning has been operating in Watthana for 25+ years and is the recognised Bangkok authority on premium suits, vintage formal wear, leather, and wedding dresses. Pricing is at the higher end (350-600 THB for jackets, 600-1,200 THB for premium suits), but the technique on canvassed and structured tailoring is consistently better than mainstream chains. They handle delicate vintage and bespoke that other shops decline. Turnaround is slower (3-5 days standard) but the quality on irreplaceable garments is worth the wait. Best for: bespoke and hand-canvassed suits, vintage formal wear, premium designer pieces.
3. Patis Laundry Bangkok — balanced multi-service
Patis Laundry combines dry cleaning, wash and fold, bedding, and curtain cleaning. Pricing is mid-range — competitive on standard suits and shirts (180-300 THB jacket, 400-600 THB two-piece). They serve as a one-stop shop if you also have everyday laundry to send. Their snippet on Patis prices appears in Google's PAA snippets so they're well-known to the search engine. Best for: mixed dry-clean + wash needs, balanced quality and price for standard suits.
4. Big Mama (Siam Takashimaya) — central Bangkok hotel-friendly
Big Mama operates in Khlong San near Siam Takashimaya and has 5+ years of consistently strong reviews (5/5 from 290+ Google reviews). Hotels in central Bangkok regularly recommend them for guests' formal wear cleaning. Pricing in line with mid-tier dry cleaners. Best for: hotel guests staying in Silom/Sathorn/Khlong San area who want reliable service without the premium of Snow White. Operates as both alteration and dry-cleaning shop, useful if your suit needs minor adjustments alongside cleaning.
5. Wasawash — premium Asoke specialist
Wasawash is a smaller premium operator in the Asoke/Din Daeng area focused on quality over volume. They do laundry and dry cleaning with a hospitality-grade approach. Pricing toward the higher end, but the personal attention is consistent. Best for: residents of Asoke/Phrom Phong/Sukhumvit corridor who want a single trusted operator for both regular laundry and occasional dry-cleaning needs.
