1. Use any plastic bag — we provide one if needed
You don't need a special laundry bag. A standard plastic shopping bag works fine. Most hotels provide a logo'd laundry bag if you ask reception or housekeeping. We also bring a sealed pickup bag if you message us in advance. Don't bother with multiple smaller bags or organising by colour — we sort by colour and fabric at our laundry centre using our own systems. One bag, all your laundry, is the easiest.
2. Empty pockets and remove items
Empty all pockets BEFORE pickup. Bangkok laundries lose items left in pockets at significant rate — common items lost: cash, hotel keycards, USB drives, foreign coins, small jewellery, business cards, phones, AirPods, makeup, lip balm. We do not accept liability for items left in pockets per our refund policy. Quick checklist before sealing the bag: pant pockets (front and back), shirt breast pocket, jacket inner pocket, jacket outer pockets, jeans coin pocket. Also remove: belts left in trouser loops, scarves tied around bags, hairpins from items rolled up.
3. Mark the bag with your room number
If your hotel has a room number, write it clearly on the bag with a marker or use the hotel's laundry tag. We pick up by room number — the front desk hands the bag over when our rider arrives and asks 'pickup for room 1812'. Without a room number on the bag, retrieval relies on the hotel's manual logging which sometimes goes wrong. The room number on the bag is your insurance against mix-ups. For non-hotel addresses (condo, residence), include a phone number or surname instead.
4. Disclose anything special
On WhatsApp before pickup or with a note in the bag, mention: (1) Any silk, cashmere, wool, or 'dry clean only' items — we'll handle them on the appropriate cycle. (2) Stains you want treated specifically (tomato, red wine, makeup, ink) — we apply targeted stain treatment before the wash. (3) Items that should not be tumble-dried (some fabrics shrink). (4) Allergies to certain detergents (rare, we use eco-friendly) — flag if anyone has fragrance allergies. (5) Items at end-of-life that can be wiped harder (we go gentler by default). (6) Anything with sentimental or financial value above ~3,000 THB. The more we know, the better the result.
5. What to expect back
Standard turnaround is 24 hours from pickup time. Same-day available if booked before 2 PM Bangkok time (100% surcharge). You'll receive: (1) WhatsApp message confirming pickup. (2) WhatsApp with the calculated weight + price after we weigh at our laundry centre. (3) Email confirmation of order details. (4) WhatsApp when we're on the way back. (5) Bag delivered to the same hotel reception, with the same room number, in protective packaging. Items are folded and sealed; ironed items are hung in protective garment bags or folded with care.
