Same-Day & Flight Day

What's the latest I can book and still get same-day return?

Jewel·Updated May 13, 2026·7 questions

Tourists ask 'how late can I leave it?' constantly. The answer depends on your address, load size, and what evening flight you're trying to make. Here are the cutoffs by scenario.

What's the absolute latest booking that still works?

11am for 6-9pm same-day delivery is the sweet spot — comfortable, reliable, 95%+ on-time rate. Booking by 1pm: pickup 2-3pm, deliver 8-10pm. Booking by 2pm: pickup 3-4pm, deliver 9-10pm (cutting it close). Booking after 3pm for same-day: not reliable, we'd offer 'next morning' as backup. The 11am-1pm window is where same-day works smoothly. Beyond 1pm, the schedule gets compressed and we'd reduce our same-day commitment to 'we'll try, if not we deliver tomorrow morning.'

Does it depend on my Bangkok area?

Yes. Central Bangkok (Sukhumvit, Silom, Sathorn, Asoke, Khao San): up to 1pm booking for same-day. Outer zones (On Nut, Bang Na, Lat Phrao): 11am cutoff to be safe. Far outer zones (Don Mueang area, Bang Kapi, far Lat Phrao): 10am cutoff because delivery routes take 60+ extra minutes. The reason: pickup and delivery time are the longest constraints in same-day; central addresses are quickest. Tourists in central Bangkok have the most flexibility.

Does load size affect the cutoff?

Yes — larger loads need earlier cutoffs. Up to 4 kg: 1pm cutoff is fine (above timeline). 5-6 kg: 12pm cutoff (one wash cycle takes 2.5 hours instead of 2). 7-8 kg: 11am cutoff (might need staggered processing). 8+ kg: 10am cutoff or split into two separate same-day orders. The math: each additional kg adds about 5-8 minutes of total processing time. For 95%+ on-time delivery on larger loads, give yourself buffer.

What if I just need a single shirt or two same-day?

Tiny loads (1-2 items) actually have faster cutoffs because the wash cycle for 1 kg takes the same 2 hours as 4 kg. Booking up to 2pm for a single-item same-day works fine. The catch: minimum order at our service is 1 kg per pickup (otherwise pickup cost dominates). For just 1-2 items, hotel concierge or in-room hand-wash often beats us on cost. We're best for 3+ kg loads.

What about same-day on weekends?

Saturday and Sunday: same-day works fine, with same cutoffs as weekdays. Some tourists assume Bangkok laundries close on Sundays — false, premium services run 7 days. Our centre operates Sunday with full staff. Volume on weekends is similar to weekdays, occasionally higher (Monday-flight tourists load up Friday-Saturday). Cutoff times are identical.

Are public holidays different?

Yes — Songkran (April 13-15), Chinese New Year (varies), and major Buddhist holidays compress same-day capacity 50-70%. We run reduced staff and longer turnaround. Same-day on these days: cutoff is 9am instead of 11am, premium is 50% (not 30%), and capacity sells out fast. Book 24+ hours ahead during these periods. Outside major holidays, same-day works smoothly year-round including New Year's Day, Christmas, and most Western holidays (Bangkok runs commercially on these).

What if my flight is at 9pm — can I get laundry by 8pm?

Yes — book by 11am, plan for 6-7pm delivery, you'll have your laundry by then with margin. For absolute precision (hotel checkout at 12pm, must have laundry by 4pm), book by 9-10am with 'specific time slot' note. We can do 4pm delivery for a 50 THB precision fee. Tourists with 9pm flights coordinating laundry around hotel checkout are common — we plan around it routinely.
