Why our service works for hostels

No minimum order

1 kg or 5 kg, same flat pickup. Solo backpackers don't pay extra for small loads.

Hostel reception handover

Drop your bag at reception, the rider picks up. You don't need to wait or coordinate. Pickup happens whether you're at the hostel or out exploring.

Pickup zones cover all major hostel districts

Khao San, Sukhumvit, Silom, Pratunam, Phra Khanong, On Nut — every backpacker district in our core zone with a flat 100 THB pickup fee.

Cheaper than Khao San long-stay self-service

Self-service is cheap per load but eats time. For stays of 5+ days, our service catches up on price and saves you ~2 hours per load.

WhatsApp booking, no app

Most hostels have decent WiFi. Send us a message, we confirm pickup, you go back to enjoying Bangkok.

Cash, Wise, PayPal — pay your way

Backpackers come with different payment setups. We accept all major options including Wise (popular for international travellers).

Cost comparison: a week of Bangkok backpacker laundry

Typical 5 kg week-long backpacker load — t-shirts, shorts, underwear, a couple of swimwear pieces.

OptionCostTime spent
Khao San self-service (3 loads)~270 THB~6 hours
Drop-off at hostel front desk~400-500 THB~30 min
Our pickup-and-delivery600 THB5 min on WhatsApp
Hostel-arranged laundry (variable)700-1,000 THB~30 min
Hand-wash in hostel sink~50 THB (detergent)~10 hours over a week

The math: Self-service is cheapest by THB, but eats 6 hours of your Bangkok time. Our service costs 330 THB more but saves you 5+ hours. If your time is worth more than 65 THB/hour (roughly 2 USD), our service is the better deal — and most backpackers value time meaningfully more than that.

Hostel laundry FAQs

Is your service really cheaper than Khao San self-service?

Depends on your stay length. Khao San self-service laundromats charge ~40-60 THB per wash + 30-50 THB drying = 70-110 THB per load. For 1-2 loads, self-service is cheaper. For 3+ loads (typical for stays of 5+ nights), our 100 THB/kg + 100 THB pickup catches up — and you save 90-120 minutes of hostel-time per load. For a typical 5 kg backpacker load (a week of clothes for 1 person), our service: 600 THB total. Same load self-service: ~250-300 THB but 2 hours of your time across multiple machine cycles. Self-service wins on absolute cost; we win on time-saved.

Do you pickup from Khao San hostels?

Yes — we pickup from every major Khao San area hostel: NapPark, Lub d Khao San, Mad Monkey, Slumber Party, Bodega Bangkok, AMA Hostel, Wayha Khao San, and dozens more. Khao San is in our core service zone. Standard pickup window: 1-3 hours from your WhatsApp message. The rider arrives at your hostel reception, the front desk hands over your laundry bag (you don't need to wait), we deliver back to the same reception 24 hours later. Same-day available if you book before 2 PM.

I'm in a 12-bed dorm — how do you handle pickup privacy?

All laundry is handed to and collected from the hostel reception/front desk, never inside dormitories. Pack your bag in your bunk, write your name + bunk number + dates on it (with a marker or a hotel laundry tag), drop at reception. Reception logs the pickup in their book. We collect and return to the same reception. Your name is the identifier — most Bangkok hostels do this routinely. For mixed dorms, your bag is sealed in protective packaging on return, never opened in shared space.

How do I pay if I'm using cash for everything?

Cash on delivery is fine — the rider accepts THB on return. Other options: Wise (popular with backpackers since you can transfer at favorable rates), PayPal (link sent on completion, pay anytime), Visa/Mastercard via portable terminal at delivery. PromptPay (Thai bank QR) if you have a Thai bank account from a longer stay. No payment required at pickup — only after the bag is delivered back to your hostel and you've inspected it.

What's the cheapest way to do laundry as a Bangkok backpacker?

For stays under 5 days: Khao San self-service laundromat at 40-60 THB per wash. For stays of 5+ days: our pickup-and-delivery at 100 THB/kg + 100 THB pickup is cheaper after time-accounting. For long-term stays (1+ month): negotiate weekly recurring service with us at slightly reduced per-kg rate. For ultra-budget: hand-wash in your hostel sink (free but limited to small items, drying takes 12-24 hours in Bangkok humidity). Most backpackers we serve use a hybrid: hand-wash quick items, send larger loads to us, occasional self-service stops.

Can you do same-day for a flight tomorrow?

Yes — same-day works for backpackers heading to airports. Book before 2 PM via WhatsApp. We collect by 1 PM, return clean clothes to your hostel between 6-9 PM the same evening. 100% same-day surcharge applies (so 200 THB/kg instead of 100 THB/kg + 100 THB pickup). For a typical 3 kg pre-flight load: 700 THB total. Cheaper than airport hotel laundry (typically 1,200+ THB for the same).

Do you serve Khao San long-stay backpackers?

Yes — long-stay backpackers in the Khao San area are common customers. We offer recurring weekly pickup at slightly reduced per-kg rates (~85 THB/kg instead of 100 THB/kg). Set the schedule with us via WhatsApp: 'Sunday pickups every week from [hostel name]'. The rider arrives at the same time each week, you don't need to re-book. Useful for: long-stay digital nomads in Khao San area, retirees in long-stay budget guesthouses, mid-trip volunteers passing through Bangkok for 4+ weeks.
