What items can I send and what should I keep with me?

Cotton t-shirts, cotton dresses, socks, underwear, casual cotton trousers, polo shirts, gym shorts, lightweight cotton button-downs, swimsuits (rinsed for sand first), bath towels, hand towels, beach towels, pyjamas, basic cotton bedsheets. These are 90% of what tourists send. They go through standard wash, dry, fold and come back fine. No special handling needed, no extra charges.

Silk anything (scarves, blouses, dresses), wool (sweaters, knit garments), viscose, rayon, modal, cashmere, anything labelled 'dry-clean only,' bra cups (especially padded), lace, sequined items, anything with leather trim, embroidered traditional Thai clothing (if you bought any). For these, write 'hand-wash, no dryer' on a note inside the bag, or WhatsApp us at booking. We handle them by hand-wash, line-dry, no spin or low-spin, packed in tissue paper.

Always keep: passport, visa documents, credit/debit cards, large amounts of cash, expensive jewelry (rings, necklaces over $200 value), prescription medications, electronics (chargers, power banks, AirPods, laptops), keys, cameras. Always check pockets before bagging. We are honest, we have a perfect track record on items we return, but accidents happen — a forgotten passport copy left in pants gets washed and ruined. The rule: anything irreplaceable or expensive lives in your hotel safe, not your laundry.

Yes, all in-house. We can wash designer cotton, silk, and wool items if you tell us at booking. We've handled Burberry trench coats, Tom Ford shirts, Prada blouses without issue — they're just clothes underneath the brand. High-value structured items (Hermès jackets, designer suits with internal canvas) go through our own professional dry-cleaning — per-item from 120 THB, nothing sent out. Designer leather goods and bags (LV bags, Hermès leather) are cleaned and conditioned in-house by our leather specialists, quoted individually over WhatsApp. If you're unsure of an item's value or care needs, send a photo at booking and we'll advise honestly.

Yes — but separately from regular laundry. Shoes don't go in the washing machine (destroys most shoes); we hand-clean them. Pricing: $10-18 per pair depending on material (canvas, leather, suede, technical). Turnaround 48 hours. If you book a wash-and-fold AND shoes together, package shoes in a separate plastic bag inside your laundry pickup bag — we extract the shoes for separate handling. Yes — hiking pants, technical t-shirts, base layers all wash fine. Two notes: (1) Hiking boots and hiking shoes need separate hand-cleaning (see shoe cleaning). (2) Synthetic technical fabrics (Patagonia, Arc'teryx, North Face) often have specific care requirements — they shouldn't be washed with fabric softener and shouldn't go in a hot dryer. Tell us 'technical hiking gear' at booking and we use cold wash, no softener, low-heat dry. Otherwise the standard treatment is fine for most cotton hiking layers.

Wetsuits we don't clean — they need specific neoprene-friendly cleaners that we don't carry, and they're a one-trick item. Most Bangkok dive shops will rinse a wetsuit free if you bought from them. Snorkel masks and fins are simple — wash with mild soap in fresh water yourself, no laundry service needed. Beach towels and rash guards are standard cotton/synthetic — send them. The rule: anything with rubber, neoprene, or specialized waterproofing skips the laundry, anything fabric-based is fine.
